so bad

i'm really bad at blogging. i'll keep trying. it's not that i have nothing to say; it's that i have too much to say and can't figure out where to start. i'll keep trying.

Jona & Kyle's First Snow!

This is scrapbook page Jona made of Kyle's first snow experience (Jona's 1st,too). It snowed on his birthday & I thought he'd missed out on playing in it since a lot of the snow was melted by the time his bday party was over. So glad to get these pics of all the fun they had tonight:)

Ma

I called my grandmother "Ma", but Glenn called her "Mama Vinson". My dad's mother was born in New York City and was Jewish. I'm a WHOLE lot like her in personality, and she was a wonderful and inspiring person.

Fun With the Scanner...

...so Jason & Catrina gave us a scanner/printer/fax & I've been having fun scanning old pics to preserve them for posterity's sake:) This is quite the daunting job since I probably have at least 30,000 pics! I'm going to blog about some of the pics if I can remember to do it...so here goes. This is my family when I was probably less than 1 year old and my brother, Glenn, was about 5 years. My father had a house built on Killough Drive in the Roebuck area of Birmingham, AL.
